God's 7000 is an organization of Christians who love their country, and stand for religious freedom, traditional marriage, and life for the unborn.
God's 7000 was founded to provide encouragement and support for those who are standing for God in the last days.With crime, violence and immorality on the increase, and God's people being buffeted on every side, it may seem as though it isn't worth it to stand for God. But when we join together for a common purpose under the blood-stained banner of Jesus Christ, we will not only find encouragement, but we will make a difference in the lives of the people around us and the world.
In I & II Kings, the Bible tells the story of the nations of Israel and Judah as they fall deeper and deeper into idolatry, apostasy, and immorality. Throughout this time, God raises up prophets to rebuke and challenge the people and the kings. One of these prophets is Elijah. After slaying the false prophets of Baal, his life is hunted by Jezebel, the wicked queen of Israel, and he flees to a cave in the wilderness. He is very despondent, and when God asks him why he's in the cave, he says, "I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away."
